Sometimes users might come across problems while setting up Netgear Router when they have a new one.

So, you can find bugs simply to check out some things from outdated hardware to buggy firmware or old infrastructure, damaged cables, spotty signal strength and when too many people connected at the same time to the network.

For the routerlogin.net setup process, you should check that your Router has no malware.

Process on Netgear Router Setup

  • First off, plug in the Ethernet cable back side of Netgear Router and power on it.
  • Now connect the internet over wifi and open your Web browser -> head over to Router login page.
  • A login page will appear on screen. Then enter login details like username =”admin” and password =”password”.
  • Once you log in, go to Internet from menu > Setup Wizard > New Connection and follow the NETGEAR Genie to configure your router.
  • If “PPPoE DSL Internet Connection Detected” then ask your ISP for the Username and Password.
  • When your Router is configured then internet connection will turn good.
  • Now visit the Wireless section to configure your Wi-Fi Network.
  • Select an SSID (name) for your Wi-Fi Network and select a suitable password under Security Options (WPA2-PSK) Passphrase:
  • Apply the changes and you’re now all done setting up your NETGEAR Router.
